With a creative mind, a master’s degree in psychology, a medical background, and experience in quality entertainment and seminars which engage everyone, I have much to offer your organization.
I saw my first stage hypnosis show when I was 16. That lit a fire in me. Here was a show that was hilarious, and introduced us to the power of our minds – our untapped abilities! I immediately felt a calling to do this work.
At the same time, I went to a hypnotist to stop biting my nails. I had done that for years and was unable to stop. After 2 sessions, it worked. I was amazed.
The people around me pooh-pooh’d my passion. They would discredit the mind-body connection – as well as my ability to stand up in public. I found it hard to back up what I sensed inside was possible, as well as to believe in myself. Thus, I lost confidence – and even felt like a freak at times.
I pursued my interest in secret. I read and practiced on the side, while having a “legitimate day job” as a biologist. I only told a few people about what I really wanted to do. I wasn’t sure I was “good enough,” or that I could make a living at it.
But time goes on, and I knew what people regret is not doing what brings them alive – to follow their big dreams. The quote: “If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you” kept dogging me with more urgency.
So I took a deep breath and applied to be in a festival. They were thrilled and intrigued. The local newspaper interviewed me. My name got out there. I had ten volunteers who were amazed at how much fun they had and how good they felt afterwards. People came to me afterwards with questions about hypnosis. This was it!
My work now combines the fun and serious sides of hypnosis. My mission is to uplift others in fun and powerful ways, with meaningful entertainment.
